User Group

The user groups are a list of group (names) having a permissive role in our system. The groups are assigned to an user by the authentication system, like being member of AD groups or assigned to JAAS groups.

The groups themselves can be assigned rights. Most of those permissions can be restricted to some measure point's subtree.

WARNING

If they are not restricted, those permissions are active on the entire MP tree, including the ROOT.
